Repairing Black Display on an Asus Transformer TF101
I was asked to fix a TF101 with a black display.
After a bit of Googling I managed to get it working. The repairs is petty simply. Basically requiring one to open the case and plug in the display cable.
'''1/17/2014 - I decided to have a look at this guide today and I noticed I hadn't finished it. I apologize for this. I don't have the pictures with me and I am not sure if I kept a copy anywhere.
After the last step in the guide you need to remove a little tape from the display connector and push the connector into place. I retaped it using Tuck Tape. A red tape used in construction that is very sticky.'''
Good luck!

EditStep 1 — Display
The first step is to remove two Small Torx Screws on the bottom. I don't know the size as I happened to have an unmarked Torx screwdriver nearby that happened to fit.

EditStep 2
I used a metal opening tool to spearate the bezel from the front of the unit. Once I had it separated in one area it was relatively easy to spread it using my fingertip. I then worked around the bezel until it popped off.

EditStep 3
There are four screws to remove behind the bezel. I never got a good picture of the screws but two are indicated here and the other two are in a similar location but just out of the picture.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
